This weekend I was able to grill outside for the first time this year! I was so happy because I love to grill everything! This time, however, I wanted to grill kabob. So off to the store I went. I picked up a family pack of steaks and a package of boneless skinless chicken breasts for the meat. For vegetables I got red, yellow, and green peppers as well as onions and zucchini.
I cut all of the ingredients up into cubed pieces and through them into a marinade I made up. I added in soy sauce, honey, olive oil, sriracha sauce, hoisen sauce, worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and steak seasoning and let all of them soak up that beautiful marinade together in the fridge for 2 hours. After the grill got set up, I took out the container and started stringing the poles with a mixture of the meats and vegetables. I love using all different colored vegetables not only because of how healthy it is, but it looks so good! Grilled them while rotating about 15-20 minutes. They turned out amazing!! Not dry and had amazing flavour and coloring. I will definately be making more and adding more vegetables. Looking forward to grilling mexican corn and blackened Tilapia sandwichs.
